Grassroots Initiative for Gender and Development (GRID) is a non-governmental, not-for-profit organization, committed to the full inclusion of all persons and works to promote rights irrespective of gender, religion, disability or ethnicity. Our focus is on Disability Inclusive Humanitarian Action and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights in hard-to-reach communities often excluded from social development programs which consequently traps them in a cycle of systemic marginalization.

Through our advocacy and campaign programs, we amplify the voices of marginalized groups, especially women and girls, and bring to the fore a wide range of other issues that do not get mainstream coverage, as well as implement interventions that strengthen society structures. We understand the importance of and prioritize partnerships in the development of sustainable solutions to create access to opportunities in all aspects of life for persons at the grassroots.
